Just thought I’d post up some images of how we are working on this one.
First, you select the KML link:

Then, your computer should recognise this as a Google earth file (so long as you have GE installed) :

Wait a couple of minutes, and the PL!NGS then magically appear…

Even with a nice menu to the side to filter out the PL!NGS, and then add other layers:

Our next step is to publish a KML feed so you can automate this. I’ll check tomorrow.

Multi formats!
Posted on October 1st, 2007 No commentsWe had a very productive day today, in terms of getting PL!NG information available now in lots of formats. Check the buttons at the bottom of this listing:

We got the PL!NG data into RSS, Google Maps, XML, CSV, KML and a widget!!
Will explain more about these wonderful formats in future posts, but it is great so far!!
