  • Gathering, Managing, Sharing: Practical learning on promoting positive activities

DSCF Information and Signposting Project - Sharing the LearningToday sees the launch of a new report, sharing the learning from the last 12 months of the Information and Signposting Project.

Through the work of the Plings team with over 20 local authorities; teams of technical experts; young people; researchers and policy makers we’ve identified key lessons to support any organisations looking to ‘Take positive activity information future’ and to ensure they can collect, manage and share high quality information on positive activities.

The goal of the Plings project, and the Information and Signposting Project, has always been to make sure that young people have access to the highest possible quality activity information that will encourage and support them to get involved in positive activities.

Putting all the foundations in place for young people to have access to such information is a significant challenge – but we hope that with the shared learning in this report, many more authorities or organisations will be able to continue moving forward in their provision of positive activity information to young people.

You can download the report as a PDF from the Substance website, or, if you prefer, you can subscribe to the blog and we’ll be sharing the headlines from the report section-by-section over the coming week.
